Weekend Course: Advanced PHP with OOPs and MVC
This course is for working professionals and students who have a working knowledge of HTML and PHP.
In this course, we will study about OOPs and its practical use in PHP and also about the latest concepts of Model View Controller model. We will create our own custom MVC framework and also learn to use and implement CodeIgniter framework.
WHY CODE IGNITER AND NOT ZEND OR CAKEPHP OR SYMPHONY ETC?
MVC is a concept and the best way to learn a concept is by creating something from scratch using that concept. Code Igniter is one of the easiest MVC frameworks to learn and one of the most flexible MVC Framework to implement.
CakePHP and Zend etc are very bloated and have a very steep learning curve without giving any significant advantage in the implementation etc.
That is why we teach CodeIgniter. If you are comfortable in using CodeIgniter, learning any other framework would be relatively easy.
Course Overview
Duration: 2 weekends (Classes are on Saturday and Sundays only)
